Science in Dialogue – Towards a European Model for Responsible Research and Innovation

The EU Presidency conference Science in Dialogue will outline different perspectives on how to further develop the dialogue and interaction between science and society. It will discuss how societal actors, researchers and innovators become more mutually responsive and reflective with regard to the ethical acceptability, sustainability and societal desirability of the direction taken by the innovation process and its marketable products.

 

Call for Nominations Jacobs Research Prize Award 2012

Entitled to nominate are specialists and experts in the field of child and adolescent research worldwide. The Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize awards outstanding scientific contributions of individuals from all disciplines aiming at the improvement of young people’s development and perspectives worldwide. All documents pertaining to the nomination should be submitted to the offices of the Jacobs Foundation by 15 March 2012.
