Living Knowledge: International Journal of Community Based Research 


The official publication of the Living Knowledge Network. Since August 2005 it is published once a year. The journal is focusing on all people interested in community based research, background information and the impact of community based research. The magazine will be distributed to the members and subscribers of the network as well to journalists, mediators and project partners. The purpose of LK is to disseminate timely and informative articles that represent the current state of the discussion on science shop / community based research matters. The articles are selected for appeal to readers engaged in research and applications across the broad spectrum of community based research. Although a moderate level of scientific understanding is assumed by the authors, articles should be clear enough to inform readers who work outside the particular subject area. Every LK article receives a professional editorial review.

Sections
There are several sections in the journal. All sections do have specific contributions. You can contribute to all sections. 

Around the world:
Short articles about Science Shop projects or research - What´s new? Information about "who asked for the research / clients", "impact of results", "contact address" with name (at least e-mail) should be included. Length: 650 characters up to 2.500 characters (incl. blanks). Might be shortened by the editors. Pictures, tables, figures welcome!

Interview:
Please refer to announced topic of the issue and contact editors for preparation of submission. Length: 5.000 characters. Picture obligatory.

Main articles:

Information must include "who asked for the research / clients", "impact of results", "contact address with name and address, email, homepage" Length: either 8.000 characters or 12.000 (incl. blanks). Pictures, tables, figures obligatory
