Conference Name Badges
All delegates, including presenters will be provided with a name badge, which must be worn at all times within the conference venue
The Registration desk is located at the Foyer I in the GSI. Please direct any questions you might have regarding registration and session attendance or other elements of the conference to the staff at this desk.

Entry to Conference Sessions
It is suggested that delegates arrive at preferred sessions promptly to ensure a seat. Speakers Speakers are requested to assemble in their session
room 5 minutes before the commencement of their session, to familiarize themselves with the room and the audio visual equipment.
The posters can be placed on Friday from 8 am and have to be removed after 5.30 pm again as there will be a session the next morning. We will provide material for hanging up the posters.
Conference Social Functions
All social function tickets are included in full registration. Day registrants or accompanying partners will need to purchase an additional ticket to attend.
The Welcome Reception is free.
The Conference Dinner will be held on the boat
“Rheinprinzessin” on Friday, 11 May 2012 from
7.00pm – 9.30 pm.
Additional ticket: 35 Euro per
The after dinner party starts after mooring again
at the jetty around 9.30 pm and is free for all delegates.
For all conference sessions and social functions the dress code is casual.
Registration fee includes a ticket for free public transport in the city of Bonn (10-12 May 2012). It comes with your Conference Name Badge.
All catering venues have been advised of any special diet preferences you have indicated on your registration form.
Conference Football Match
It is also intended to have a football match on the evening of 9th May: To implement this audacious engagement in the field, we propose play football in the park ! This match will be the excuse to have a relaxed and to experiment with sport as another communication language in > addition to the traditional English ;-). The game will be mixed-sex and no particular level of skill is required.
E-mail Kenneth Burns at <mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org> email@example.com by the end of April to indicate your interest so we know in advance if we have enough for a game. If you would like to play, don¹t forget to bring runners, shorts and a t-shirt (no football boots!).
As a courtesy to other delegates, please ensure that all mobile phones are turned off or in a silent mode during all sessions and social functions. Smoking
The GSI is a non smoking venue – however guests are allowed to smoke outside in designated areas.
The 5th Living Knowledge Conference reserves the right to amend or alter any advertised details relating to dates, programme and speakers if necessary,
without notice, as a result of circumstances beyond their control. All attempts have been made to keep any changes to an absolute minimum.
